I’ve added last nights episode captures to the gallery. I feel so bad for Blair sometimes, I’m hoping they fix the Chuck and Blair relationship somehow because I personally miss it. Not that many episodes until the season finale. Wonder how they’re going to leave it off this season.

Gossip Girl’s resident queen bee, Leighton Meester has just nabbed a coveted new role–Herbal Essences global ambassador. “My first memory is those iconic [Herbal Essences] commercials back in the day. My mom used it, too,” she tells WWD of wanting to partner with the brand known for its cheeky ad campaign. And while her television alter-ego is known for her prim-and-proper style, the real-life fashion risk-taker says she’s not afraid to cut loose on the red carpet. “I try different looks and I’m happy that I can achieve them and not look like a clown. I like to have fun with hair and makeup,” Meester says. “I’m lucky because expressing my personal style is fun and I have fun with it. Everyone should love their own look. Don’t copy; do your own thing.” source: http://stylenews.peoplestylewatch.com/2010/04/09/leighton-meesters-new-gig-the-face-of-herbal-essences/?xid=rss-topheadlines |

Oh no, Little J. Looks like trouble is not stopping for Jenny (Taylor Momsen) on Gossip Girl. After the horrible virginity debacle this week, her luck doesn’t look to be improving. Agnes (Willa Holland) of the guerilla fashion show and clothes-burning fame is back, and it won’t surprise us if she has ties with Jenny’s drug-dealing and sexually frustrated ex Damien (Kevin Zegers). That partnership is scary, seriously. This will come to a head on Eleanor’s (Margaret Colin) very important fashion show, for which she is putting daughter Blair (Leighton Meester) in charge. |

Stars including Leighton Meester, David Walliams and Nicky Hilton have all donated designer clothes to a cancer charity auction. Sharon Osbourne, Rupert Grint and Tyra Banks have also raided their closets to support the Give Up Clothes for Good campaign, to raise money for Cancer Research U.K. Banks has offered up a Catherine Malandrino dress and Osbourne has donated a Burberry coat, while funnyman Walliams has parted with a Tom Ford suit. He says, “While I would have loved to keep it, I know it will be raising money for an important cause.” “Cancer is such a horrible disease at any age, let alone when you’re a child, so we need to do everything we can to help fund more research. Please take part in this campaign and help save more lives.” The sale started on website eBay on Thursday, March 2 and will run for one week. |

Fox 2000 and New Regency are finally booking their long-planned trip to Monaco. Disney Channel star Selena Gomez is set to play one of the three lead roles in Tom Bezucha’s young femme comedy “Monte Carlo,” while a possible deal is in the works for “Gossip Girl’s” Leighton Meester. Nicole Kidman is producing with Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan. Kidman may also play a supporting role. Bezucha, who directed “The Family Stone” for Fox 2000, is set to begin lensing in May. “Monte Carlo” will be shot in Monaco, Budapest and Paris. Bezucha co-wrote the original script with Maria Maggenti, adapting a novel about a group of American women who ditch a disappointing no-frills holiday in Paris and pose as wealthy women vacationing in Monaco. The book, “Headhunters,” was penned by Jules Bass, known for his Rankin/Bass animated specials. Originally, Kidman was attached to star, but the updated script — co-written by Bezucha and April Blair — has put a younger spin on the story, with two of the characters in college and one just out of high school. Gomez would play the youngest of the three. Every studio is seeking out younger femme film properties after the boffo success of a string of female-driven films, led by the “Twilight” franchise. “Monte Carlo” furthers the budding relationship between Fox 2000 and Gomez, who stars in the studio’s upcoming “Ramona and Beezus,” based on the bestselling kids book series by Beverly Cleary. Fox 2000 is producing with Walden Media. Greenspan and Di Novi are producers. Gomez has primarily worked in television and is the star of Disney’s hit series “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Meester has several feature projects in the works, including “The Roommate” and “Love Don’t Let Me Down,” also starring Gwyneth Paltrow. Both films will be released in the U.S. by Screen Gems. |
