I’ve added captures of Leighton in The Haunting of Sorority Row to the gallery this evening. The movie was not the best but it was still a good watch, if you have a chance I’d definitely give it a go.

Leighton Meester has revealed further details about her forthcoming solo album.
The Gossip Girl actress plans to release the record in early 2011 and it has the working title of Love Is a Drug – after the recent single Your Love’s a Drug.

Revealing what fans may expect from her first CD, Leighton said: “Right now I’m just writing. I’m working on a lot of acoustic stuff, that’s where my heart is kind of going right now.”
24-year-old Meester, who just wrapped-up filming her new movie Monte Carlo with Katie Cassidy, Cory Monteith and Selena Gomez, added: “I’m just experimenting and having fun.

“I just did another feature on a song – She Said (by Stephen Jerzak), which is very much like a club song. It’s pretty hot, I like it!”

Want to get Leighton’s makeup look? Well in a recent interview with In Style, she revealed what she herself uses.

She does however have several fail-safe beauty secrets, which she recently revealed to Instyle US. She told the mag that she keeps things simple: ‘I use a little cheek stain, curl my lashes, and put on some lip balm and sunscreen’.

She favours products which accentuate her natural beauty, including Smith’s Rosebud Salve, which she says is her ‘desert island beauty pick’, and Benefit Benetint for ‘the most natural flush’.

And while she revealed that her favoured way to style her hair when off duty is to let it air-dry, she still likes to give a little extra texture and hold courtesy of Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel.

“I’m not super OCD when it comes to every little flyaway,” Meester told PEOPLE. “I like being a little undone.” And while the 24-year-old star recently became global spokeswoman for hair care brand Herbal Essences, she wouldn’t hesitate to chop off her signature long locks if for the right role. “I know it’s just hair and I can change it however I want. I haven’t shaved my head or anything like that. But, you know if I needed to! It’s part of my job to change my hair.” For Meester, embracing change is part of her routine, admitting to “playing a part” when she’s on a red carpet. And she turns to her dream team, including makeup artist Chris Colbeck and hairstylist Charles Baker Strahan, to help create her image. “It’s all about individuality and making a big statement. I leave it to the pros, they’re artists. I’ll be like, ‘just do your thing.’”
